Heartbreakers at the Owl Cafe Mohumohu, Tokyo

So, hello Tokyo! One of the things we had read about this city is that there are so many different themed cafes and restaurants; like this owl café, cat café, hedge hock café, robot and Alice in Wonderland café (to mention a few). 

Went to this owl cafe here in Tokyo yesterday. What amazingly calm animals, looking right through your eyes and into your soul!

We; me, my sister and my friend Mana who is from Japan, and who I got to know when we were studying in London, spent an hour here at the Mohumohu owl café in Shinjuku area, Tokyo. Walking down the street, it was kind of hard to find the right place, but suddenly we spotted a sign that said the café was four floors up. So we started climbing the narrow staircase in this building, and came to the top floor, to find a door closed and locked. We knocked, and a man came out to check if we had a reservation.

PS: It's a good idea to book in advance online, cause these animals are popular.

Inside the place there were 22 round eyes staring at us - I have never had a more intense welcoming when entering a room. We got to spend an hour with these babies (as the man who worked there had named them).
